Welcome to my rambling path. Exploring faith, creativity, wildness, compassion and the mystery of life. I write and paint about being here on earth, loving all of it and seeking peace, even amidst the chaos and suffering. Oh Holy Lady of the Red Thread, please make this journal a blessing and an inspiration! Amen.

Hi Shiloh - I think this i s a great exercise. I have exercised a number of techniques over the years to deal with the troublesome voice of my inner critic - shouting that I'm not good enough, smart enough, etc. etc.

One thing I wanted to share, one my latest insights, is that I look at what emerges now more in the light of that which is ready to be released. When I ask for greater abundance, vitality, wholeness - then it is natural that the next step is to release that within me that isn't aligned with my focused desire.

Unfortunately - we have all been taught to engage with our rational mind and we stop the release and do battle with ourselves. Now, I relax more and see the critical musings as stuff I'm ready to let go of. Thank you for your post. Kathryn
